The sizing chart on our website comes directly from Comfort Colors, the manufacturer of the shirt, and the sizing tolerance note shown on the chart is also provided by the manufacturer. While sizing concerns are quite rare, I take them seriously whenever they arise.
I've reached out to you directly and have already arranged a replacement shirt while we investigate the measurements of the one you received. I'd like to determine whether there may have been a manufacturing issue with the blank itself or another factor contributing to the fit concerns.
At this point, we don't know whether your friend's shirt has any sizing issue, but if it does, I'll be happy to address that as well.
